Heart Pieces

Book of Mudora includes a total of 32 heart pieces with potential to increase Link's hearts by a total of 8 containers. Below are the general locations of these heart pieces.


  1. Chest in northwest Ordon Village

  2. Chest in Relic Collector's house (Hyrule Castle Town)

  3. Chest in West Faron Woods (northeast of Grove Temple entrance)

  4. Chest in Floria Peninsula (East Faron Woods) - appears after killing all Floria Babas

  5. Chest in Hyrule Field (directly west of Lon Lon Ranch) - appears after killing all Peahats

  6. Chest on upper floor of Hyrule Castle

  7. Chest on upper floor of Kakariko Inn (Kakariko City)

  8. Chest inside tent of Gerudo Encampment (Desert)

  9. Chest inside of Sewers underneath Ordon Ranch (Ordon Village)

  10. Chest in a hidden cave under a pile of rocks in Hyrule Field (between Ordon Village and Hyrule Castle Town)

  11. Chest near a lake south of the Lost Woods entrance (east of Eastern Ruins)

  12. Beach area northeast of the Tokay settlement - obtained after defeating a Giant Crab miniboss

  13. Chest in southeast corner of Lon Lon Ranch

  14. Chest in burned out house of Hidden Village (east of Hyrule Castles

  15. Chest on ice float north of Snowpeak

  16. Chest on grassy hill above Zora's Domain, just north of the entrance

  17. Chest in Death Mountain, just south of Septen Heights - protected by Red Lynels

  18. Chest hidden in a small shed in the area south of the Mountaintop Mausoleum entrance

  19. Desert area just nort of the Beach - obtained after defeating a Lanmola

  20. Death Mountain area just east of Snowpeak - protected by a pack of Red and Blue Lynels

  21. Chest near Zora's Domain, east of Septen Heights - protected by Pit Pincers

  22. Obtained from Gaira-Deacon side quest

  23. Chest inside of Lon Lon Ranch shed - requires Roc's Feather

  24. Chest inside of Septen Heights house - requires Roc's Feather

  25. Chest inside of Snowpeak igloo house

  26. Alchemists Alehouse pub, after collecting 75 Alchemy Stones and talking to Garroth

  27. Chest on an island west of the Beach - requires Zora's Flippers to swim out into the water

  28. Chest in the southeast corner of Subrosia

  29. Chest inside of cave at Three Eye Rock (North Hyrule)

  30. Chest hidden in cave under King's Tomb (North Hyrule)

  31. Obtained after completion of Island Palace boss run (North Hyrule)

  32. Chest at the top of North Castle (North Hyrule)

Trading Sequence

As all great Zelda games do, Book of Mudora features a trading sequence! The sequence is kicked off when Link finds a Odd Mushroom on a cliff in the Western Faron Woods on the way to the Grove Temple.
